Dr. Scot O’Donnell is a native of Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Illinois. He continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, from which he graduated with honors in 1994.
His postdoctoral residency was completed at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. There, he earned a Master of Science and a specialty certificate in orthodontics. His research on early treatment was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Scot is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. He proudly supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Autism Speaks.
Dr. Scot was fortunate to meet his wife Barbara, a native Austinite, during their residency in Oklahoma. They have three children: Tommy, Sarah, and Jake.
Dr. Scot considers himself fortunate to be able to have a positive impact on the dental health and self-esteem of his patients.
