Pflugerville Orthodontics, PA has built our reputation on wonderful outcomes within a pleasant enviornment. Our experienced and caring staff is one of the many reasons we receive so many compliments. Each team member brings expertise and a commitment to making your orthodontic experience enjoyable. All clinical staff members are registered dental assistants and have certifications in radiology and infection control. They are dedicated to being leaders within the profession and regularly attend continuing education courses. Please take a moment to meet them.
Dara
Hi. My name is Dara Orton. I was born and raised in Austin, TX. I am a clinical assistant and laboratory technician at Pflugerville Orthodontics, PA. I started working for Drs. Barbara and Scot O’Donnell in 1998. I have a very special daughter named Avery.
Wendy
My name is Wendy Shear. I married my husband Ted in 1994 and we have a son, Justin. I started orthodontic assisting in 1989. I have worked for the O’Donnell’s since 1999. Our family owns and operates a painting company called Elders Painting. It is personally fullfilling to see the excitement on our patients’ faces the day their braces come off.
Sarah
My name is Sarah Fernandez. I joined the Pflugerville Orthodontics team as the Administrative Coordinator in October, 2006. I recently moved to Austin from El Paso, TX with my husband Jesse. I graduated from Our Lady of The Lake University in San Antonio with a degree in Psychology. My hobbies are traveling, reading and spending time with my family.
Lorelei
Hi. I am Lorelei Winston. I grew up in Iowa and met my husband Jared at Iowa State University. I received my degree in Exercise and Sport Science. I worked in the fitness field for 4 years before changing careers and entering orthodontics. I enjoy working as the Financial Coordinator for Drs. Scot and Barbara. I have been on the team since 2004.
Kristin
I am Kristin Vollmering. I grew up in Crosby, TX and moved to Austin in 2003. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, exercising and enjoying outdoor activities. I have been in the orthodontic field for 8 years and enjoy being the Treatment Coordinator for Pflugerville Orthodontics.
Kelly
My name is Kelly Schweda and I was born in Florence, Texas, a very small town outside of Georgetown. My husband Shane and I now live in Round Rock. I began dental assisting in 1990. During my many years in the dental field I have worked in every discipline, but I have found the most satisfaction in orthodontics. I love interacting with the patients and their families and always try to give the best care I possibly can.
